The Young Filmmakers Academy Summer Filmmaking Workshop is a three week experience in which the students write, produce and edit a real film from start to finish with the help of award-winning industry professionals and mentors.
The three week long workshop is broken into three segments and is for students ages 12-17. This allows for each student to focus on one particular discipline they are most interested in. Whether they fancy themselves a director, a boom operator, a set designer, actor, etc. the format allows for the student to dictate how they contribute to the project. Dates: July 10-28 from 9am-3pm — This is a paid workshop that culminates in the open to the public Red Carpet Premiere of the finished film.
