The Ohio Scottish Games & Celtic Festival returns to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds June 23-24, 2023.
New in 2023 is live, competitive jousting along with other major events such as Friday night’s Calling of the Clans event, Saturday Grand Parade, and Saturday evening Tattoo.
Bagpipe bands, highland athletic, highland dance, fiddle, harp and Irish music competitions will be held throughout the two day event.
Entertainment will be provided by Seven Nations, Prodigals, Father, Son & Friends, New Barleycorn, The Kilroy Ceili Band, Andrew McManus Trio, Eimear & Eileen, McNamara & Custy, Mad Maudlin, Water Horse, Alastair and Karen, Geordie Symes Pirates Small Pipe Session Group, Royal Scottish Country Dance, Leneghan School of Irish Dance and Brady-Campbell School of Irish Dance.
In addition to jousting, our Renaissance Village will feature demonstrations of full armored combat, fencing, fine arts, dance, and baroque music.

Friday Ceilidh Gates will open at 4:45 PM. The entertainment pavilion will be rock’in until 10:30 PM. Evening will include food and merchandise vendors, competitive jousting, professional piping events, genealogy, workshops and clans. The evening will also include our “Calling of the Clans” event. Advanced ticket prices are $12 for adults and $7 for Junior tickets (13-17 years old). Children 12 & under are free. Saturday Highland Games Gates will open at 8 AM. Saturday’s event includes parade of competitors, bagpipe competition, Scottish heavy athletics, live competitive jousting, keg toss, haggis throw, highland dance competitions, harp & fiddle competition, entertainment, genealogy, clans, entertainment, workshops, whiskey tasting, kilted mile, food and merchandise vendors and Tattoo! Advanced tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for Juniors (13-17 yrs old). Children 12 & under are free. Cash Gate Sales will $20 for adults and $15 for Junior Tickets (13-17 Years) Children 12 & under are free.
Saturday Evening Ticket We are introducing a discounted late entry ticket for Saturday. You will be permitted to enter the festival after 5 PM. Advanced ticket prices are $12 for adult tickets, $7 for Junior tickets. Children 12 & Under are free.
