Join the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County, in partnership with FrontLine Service, for a virtual and in-person display of inspiring artwork.
The ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County exhibits new artworks monthly in a virtual and in-person program. The Art Display Program showcases client artwork, highlights provider agencies, recognizes the benefits of art therapy and celebrates the recovery community. The art pieces, done in a variety of mediums, are available on the ADAMHS Board website for public viewing. The artwork is also available for in-person viewing during the ADAMHS Board’s Board of Directors and Committee meetings, every Wednesday in September (9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27), from 4p-5:30p. All art displays are archived on the ADAMHS Board website for further public viewing and enjoyment.
In September, FrontLine Service, an organization receiving support from the ADAMHS Board, will provide artworks to be exhibited in the program. FrontLine offers free art workshops to clients who have experienced crisis, incarceration, homelessness, mental health issues, and trauma. Local artist, Guy-Vincent, plans, develops, and facilitates the workshops. The focus of the workshops is the joy of art. Participants are encouraged to explore art mediums and to connect with their community and environment, while experiencing the healing and hope that comes from artistic self-expression. The art in the exhibit will be from the workshop participants, with their permission.
