Deutscher Musik Verein is an all-volunteer Blaskapelle (brass band) that performs in Northeast Ohio. The group is comprised of 45-50 amateur and professional musicians. No event highlights the band quite like Jagerfest, an annual cultural event that engages with members of the German community and introduces others to the culture. The ticketed event is open to the public. On April 1, 2023, we will host the 28th Jagerfest at the Donauschwaben German American Cultural Center in Cuyahoga County.

The Deutscher Musik Verein, dressed in Tracht, or Bavarian costume, will perform music ranging from traditional German marches and waltzes to modern pop songs played in an “oompah” style.  The evening will end with a performance by the International Sound Machine, a polka band.
