Four Winters: A Story of Jewish Partisan Resistance & Bravery in WWII

Presented by Cleveland Institute of Art and The Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque at The Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque

USA, 2022, Julia Mintz

More than 25,000 Jewish partisans fought back against the Nazis and their collaborators during WWII, hiding out in the forests of Eastern Europe, Ukraine, and Belarus. Against extraordinary odds, these intrepid individuals (men and women) escaped Nazi slaughter, transforming themselves from young innocents to courageous resistance fighters and shattering the myth of Jewish passivity. Cleveland premiere. DCP. 99 min. Promotional support provided by the Cleveland Jewish FilmFest; special thanks to Deborah Bobrow. www.fourwintersfilm.com
