Elizabeth (Liz) Bullock, MT-BC is a Board Certified Music Therapist and an active freelance singer in the Cleveland area. Liz also participates in outreach efforts at Roots of American Music. She began her musical journey at a young age; singing in choirs at The Music Settlement and The Singing Angels. She went on to study contemporary music at the Cleveland School of Rock and toured nationwide alongside other young musicians. Liz received her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Cleveland State University where she studied as a Voice primary. Drawing on her love of music and children, Liz is currently a Music Therapist at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Rehabilitation Center where she uses music to help young patients heal. Liz was a central part of the music performance and podcast, ‘Searching for the Truth” which showcased Sojourner Truth’s Ain’t I a Woman’s speech in 1851.
