Print detail event | Art of Community Weekend

We are excited to announce the return of our annual Art of Community Weekend! Running from Thursday, Jan. 26th through Sunday, Jan. 29th, we will be celebrating the creative and diverse community that has supported us throughout the years. Events include the Community of ARTists exhibition, our quarterly PEACE Pops and ARTFUL Open Studios, community art making workshops, live music, our first P.E.A.C.E. Celebration & Awards Night where attendees are encouraged to bring their most creative appetizers to share and wear their favorite creative outfit, the launch of Sam Silverman’s Soundworlds book, a celebratory Dance Party, and an Indoor Chalk Festival.

The weekend’s activities include both free and paid events which are open to all ages and help to support Coventry PEACE and our member non-profit organizations. Proceeds will help us to continue to be able to host free community events like our quarterly PEACE Pops and annual Lantern Festival. Your generosity also helps us to support or non-profit members in a variety of ways and will help establish new or expanded programming in the future.

Admission Info

Our Art of Community events are free to the public, except for those directly participating in our Indoor Chalk Festival on Sunday, Jan. 29th. However, those who would like to simply observe, are welcome to attend for free. Our 3D Collage Workshop on Friday, Jan. 27th is free, but registration is encouraged.
