About the performance: Mojuba! Dance Collective is an African contemporary dance company and community platform that seeks to celebrate and honor the cultural and spiritual dance traditions of the African Diaspora to restore community wellness, share and validate the Black narrative experience, and reestablish cultural connection. They will present a dance performance showcasing different traditions and styles.
About CMC Center Stage: The Children’s Museum of Cleveland is bringing world-class performances to the small stage with our CMC Center Stage performance series. With generous support from our program sponsors, CMC is excited to announce that we will be offering free performances through CMC Center Stage every month in 2023!
A live performance can stimulate imagination, promote emotional development, and teach children about different cultures. Join us for a series of interactive and age-appropriate performances of music, theater, and dance, presented without the barriers that traditional performance venues can have for families with young children. Floor seating, free admission, and an entirely early-childhood audience give our youngest learners an approachable space to wiggle, giggle, and enjoy the arts.
All events are held in the Museum’s Theater exhibit and are FREE with CMC Membership and General Admission.
