Could you sum up your strengths, talents, dreams or personality in a word? How about a symbol? (Think of the multi-talented artist, Prince)
The Healing Arts Workshops are led by a Board-certified art therapist and provide grieving people with a creative outlet for their grief. No art experience is necessary.
After surviving the challenges of 2020 and finding your way through the grief of losing a loved one, how would you envision your symbol? What would help you on the road to healing.
Each workshop consists of two sessions, a week apart. In the first session, a theme or topic is introduced, and we have a small group discussion. You are given instructions on the assignment for the week. We get back together in the second session to share and talk about the art, memories and feelings.
Masking is optional for those who are fully vaccinated. If you have not been fully vaccinated, we respectfully ask that you wear a mask when inside. If you are ill or do not feel well, please stay home.
Please call Mollie Borgione at 216.486.6544 or email mborgione@hospicewr.org for more information and how to register. Please register one week in advance of the workshop date.
We have waived our suggested $5.00 donation for supplies during the pandemic. However, if you wish to make a donation to the Healing Arts Program of Hospice of the Western Reserve, please go to our website hospicewr.org and click on Donate Now or call our Development Team at 855.475.0245.
