Have a passion for avant-garde chamber works? Don’t miss No Exit performing a program of world-premiere music and old favorites in three distinct venues: Praxis, Fiber Workshop, and Kent State University.
To wrap up their 14th season, No Exit’s December concert series will include the ensemble’s world premiere performance of three commissioned works by David Glaser, Max Friedman, and Northeast Ohio composer Frank Wiley, along with one of No Exit’s favorite commissioned pieces, Ladislav Kubik’s stunning and transcendent Nocturnes.
Additionally, No Exit will welcome back piano virtuosa Shuai Wang to perform Tiger by Henry Cowell, an American iconoclast and early avant-garde composer. The Banshee by Cowell will also be included in the program.
