Artists age 6-14 will learn about cultures around the world as we create art that celebrates New Year’s traditions world wide. Students will learn new technical artistic skills and work with a wide range of materials to create fantastic artwork!
Join us on Dec 29th and Dec 30th from 9am-2pm for a 2 day New Year’s Celebration Around the World Art Camp. Artists age 6-14 will learn about cultures around the world as we create art that celebrates New Year’s traditions world wide. Students will create Chinese New Year’s Paper Dragons, scrolled grape wall art to celebrate the traditions of Spain, Mask Art from the Junkanoo Festival in the Bahamas, Polymer clay good lock charms from Germany and Austria, Painted Wishing Spheres from Singapore and more. Classes will be held at Parkside Hall Located in St. Barnabas Church in Bay Village Ohio.
Cost for this workshop is $125.00 per student and includes all of the supplies needed for the projects both days, 10 hours of art education and lunch both days!
