The 58th Thanksgiving Polka Weekend features three days of dancing and live music and the return of the Polka Hall of Fame Awards Show with a gala, big-band stage show, hosted by the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame and Museum.
Enjoy top Cleveland-Style and Slovenian polka bands and performers. Featured entertainers include include Grammy-winners Walter Ostanek (Canada’s Polka King) and Joey Miskulin (Nashville’s Riders in the Sky), plus Hall of Famers Del Sinchak and Jeff and John Pecon, along with Garrett Tatano, Bob Zolka, Klancnik and Friends, and Linda Lee Brown. Highlights include the Polka Mass with Kathy Hlad, a hop down memory lane with the Vadnal polka family, and the All-Star Button Box Jam Session.
The Polka Hall of Fame Music Awards spectacular is a grand salute to the newest names entering the Polka Hall of Fame. Lifetime achievers are bandleader Joe Kusar, musicians Bill Srnick Sr. and Rudy Kershishnik, plus the Penn Ohio Polka Pals social group. The eight-piece stage orchestra spotlights young musicians destined to become the polka legends of the future. The Thanksgiving Polka Weekend is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
