Join Good Company: A Vocal Ensemble in welcoming Canadian Composer, Sarah Quartel, to Cleveland for the first time! Ms. Quartel, whose compositions are performed across the world, is known for her fresh and exciting approach to choral music. Deeply inspired by the life-changing relationships that can occur while making music, Sarah writes in a way that connects singer to singer, ensemble to conductor, and performer to audience. Her works are performed by choirs across the world, and she has been commissioned by groups including the American Choral Directors Association, the National Children’s Chorus of the United States of America, and New Dublin Voices.

The program will feature Ms. Quartel guest conducting several of her pieces including Sing My Child, A Winter Day, On this Silent Night, Swept Away and others. Good Company will also perform selections by Joan Szymko, Catherine Dalton and Marie-Claire Saindon. Cellist Kent Collier and Percussionist Dylan Moffit will appear as guest instrumentalists.
