Voter Disenfranchisement: Why Some Votes Get To Count For More (Cancelled)

Voter Disenfranchisement: Why Some Votes Get To Count For More (Cancelled)

Presented by Maltz Museum at Maltz Museum

Across the nation, politicians, candidates, and activists are launching a wave of voter suppression efforts, attempting to use the law to restrict the vote. Acknowledging these many growing challenges we face as a society when looking to encourage voter engagement, these community organizations have risen to the challenge by centering and prioritizing education to increase mobilization. Harmful legislation, such as redistricting laws and gerrymandering often deter citizens from casting their votes because of confusion.
