Join Shaker Historical Society and fiber artist Katie Mongoven on Monday, November 7th from 7-8pm for a virtual discussion about her recent exhibit Penumbra, her process, and her artistic inspiration.
Katie Mongoven’s embroideries are stitched portraits, stories stabbed into cloth, offering memories and reflections. Inspired by relationships and mundane and dramatic moments in her life, she recreates these raw and personal moments that touch upon a myriad of emotions in the semi-abstract form.
This Zoom event is free but registration is required for the login information. Register at bit.ly/penumbra-event.
