Join Doan Brook Watershed Partnership and Dr. Roy Larick of Bluestone Conservation for a guided hike in the Doan Brook gorge. Learn how stormwater runoff is processed and slowed at a large green infrastructure basin before entering Doan Brook and eventually Lake Erie. Learn how it was formed and changed with Shaker milling, industrialist estates and the Baldwin Reservoir. Hikers will meet outside the main entrance of Fairhill Partners (12200 Fairhill Road) at 2pm on Saturday, October 8th. The hike will last approximately 2 hours and will feature uneven trails and some difficult terrain. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear!
