Audition for City Ballet of Cleveland’s Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker on Sunday, September 18, 2022!
City Ballet of Cleveland is holding its annual Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker audition on Sunday, September 18th from 12:30 pm-3:30 pm. The audition is open to all area ballet dancers ages 8 and older. Dancers auditioning for pointe roles, including Act I Snow and Act II Waltz of the Flowers, should wear their pointe shoes to audition. Potential dancers do not need to be students at Cleveland City Dance; however, students must be enrolled in class at their current studio or Cleveland City Dance during the during the rehearsal process.
The 2022 Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker performances are scheduled for December 17th at 7:00 pm and December 18th at 2:00 pm at the Breen Center for the Performing Arts. A pre-registration form and $25 audition fee should be submitted by Thursday, September 15th. Application forms and full details are available online at www.cityballetofcleveland.org
Audition fees are $25 per dancer until Thursday, September 15. Audition fees increase to $40 per dancer on Friday, September 16. Pre-registration is required!

Audition times are based on the role for which the dancer is auditioning. Please see below for more information or visit our website. Dancers must arrive 10 minutes before their first audition for health screenings at the front entrance. Masks are optional for all dancers.
