If you are interested in the unique geology of Cleveland’s “Heights” or in the history of human settlement on Cleveland’s east side then this hike of the Doan Brook upper watershed is not to be missed!
Join the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership, the Shaker Historical Society and Dr. Roy Larick of Bluestone Heights for a guided walk to explore change in the upper Doan Brook ecosystem from the final glacial retreat to the present.
Walkers will meet at the Shaker Historical Society parking lot at 1pm on July 23rd. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear! A $5 per person fee, payable in cash or check, will be collected on the day of the event.
