Threaded History: The Art of AAQDG

Threaded History: The Art of AAQDG

Presented by Shaker Historical Society at Shaker Historical Society

“Threaded History: The Art of AAQDG” celebrates the work of African American Quilt and Doll Guild members who tell the stories of their lives, joy, history, healing, and families through their art. Formed in 2006, this group of quilters and doll-makers share their work, ideas, and talents in a comfortable and caring atmosphere; explore their African-American heritage with respect to the textile arts; and teach and inspire each other.

“Threaded History” will be on view at the Shaker Historical Society from June 10-August 21, 2022.
