A summer music festival featuring thematic programming for unique chamber music experiences (12 Concerts, June 16 – July 3)
For our 10th season we celebrate the X factor, the unnameable, that certain je ne sais quoi that touches our souls and connects us as human beings.
ChamberFest’s 10th season concludes with a brilliant burst of colorful celebration! Berio’s Folk Songs achieve his “utopian dream” of creating a conduit between ancient, popular folk music and modern inventiveness—they’re a joyous trip around the world. Symphonic in scope but with the intimacy of chamber music, Brahms’ Serenade No. 1 is a joyful outpouring of rustic vitality: uncomplicated, optimistic, and simply enchanting.
