Free Black! is a Hip-Hop duo created in Akron Ohio. The group is Floco Torres (Recording Artist/Producer) & HR3 (Drummer/Producer).
Free Black! bridges conversations between the past & future through a warm vintage sound, historical examination & songwriting that highlights contrasts/similarities in innovative ways.
ABOUT JT’S ELECTRIK BLACKOUT
Led by Akron saxophonist Justin Tibbs, JT’s Electrik Blackout combines elements of Jazz, Fusion, R&B and Rock to define the groups Contemporary-Fusion sound. Their deft use of texture, dynamics, and sound will keep the crowd perched on the edge of their seats. JT’s Electrik Blackout has played many events such as: Porch Rokr, Hello Akron and Akron Rubber City Jazz Fest.
JT’s Electrik Blackout has also been a part of The Canton Symphony Orchestra Divergent series, where artist perform their original work with member from the orchestra.
In addition to Tibbs, the band features Jared Lees: Bass, Holbrook Riles III: Drums, and John Karkosiak :Guitar
