Hindman Watch Evaluation Event

Since racing began, of any sort actually, a requirement existed for accurate timekeeping. As racing evolved, particularly concerning motorsports, watches and clocks needed to keep pace developmentally.

Explore the fascinating relationship between racing and watches with a presentation by Sean Johnson, Senior Specialist, Watches at Hindman Auctions at the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Guests have the opportunity to have their timepieces evaluated by Mr. Johnson for $5.00 per watch (three pieces maximum). Program is included with paid general admission. WRHS Members are FREE! All museum guests are invited to participate in the watch appraisal for $5 per item.

Parking Info

  • Parking is available in the museum’s adjacent parking lot located off Magnolia Drive.
  • Parking fees may be paid “in lane” upon exit using a credit card.
  • WRHS Members receive discounted flat rate parking at $5 per vehicle.  Members can pay inside, near the exit, before leaving.
