Black Leisure Sites in the Chagrin Valley During in the Green Book Era

Join us for a conversation with Mark Souther, history professor at Cleveland State University, and learn about a a new web-based project called Green Book Cleveland, which maps and documents sites of Black entertainment, leisure, and recreation in the era of the Green Book.

Mark will share the overall goal of the project with a focus on locations in and around the Chagrin Valley.

Attendees will be encouraged to identify additional locations and share their own experiences.
