Presented by Cleveland Museum of Natural History at Online/Virtual Space

PRESENTER: DR. KATHRYN FLINN

Join local ecologist Dr. Kathryn Flinn for a talk about what Northeast Ohio’s landscape was like when Moses Cleaveland arrived and how exactly it has changed since then. Dr. Flinn will present evidence from tree rings, local old-growth forests, and the earliest land surveys to describe our natural heritage and demonstrate the many ways human activities have shaped it over the past 250 years. Learn what to look for in the woods, what makes Northeast Ohio special, and what we can do now to cherish it. Bring your questions!
