Natural Areas Field Trip: Amphibian Exploration at the Grand River Terraces

Presented by Cleveland Museum of Natural History at Grand River Terraces Preserve, Ashtabula County

In particular, frogs utilize the habitat at the preserve, and the species prevalent now will be different from those we encountered on our earlier hikes this spring. Join us for a nocturnal foray into the heart of the Grand River Terraces as we look and listen for signs of life in the nighttime forest.

LOCATION
We will assemble at the Museum’s Grand River Terraces Preserve. Directions will be sent to all registrants.

FIELD TRIP INTENSITY
Moderate

WHAT TO BRING
Sturdy footwear, walking stick, camera if desired, water and snacks, insect repellent, and weather-appropriate clothes. A flashlight or headlamp may be helpful.
