What I Meant: [Dancing_Banana.GIF] is a live music, multimedia and dance performance that celebrates the common GIF’s communicative power, applying its charms to new contexts.
Featuring electronic and live music, a majority being new commissions, the show explores a wide range of styles and perspectives, from experimental pop, to art song and noise improv. Featured artists include Liam Herb; electronic composer, Elephant Ornament; electronic composer, Erica MacLeod; composer, Stephan Haluska; harp, Kellen Degnan; cello, Justin Gunter; percussion, Erika Råberg; visual artist, Akane Little; dance artist, Emily Liptow; dance artist, and Sam McIntosh; choreographer/dance artist.
