One World Day is a multicultural, international extravaganza that takes place in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens in Rockefeller Park featuring a parade, ethnic, food music and dance all day!
One World Day will celebrate its 76th year in 2022. This great Cleveland tradition begins at 11 a.m. with a naturalization ceremony for new U.S. citizens at the Cultural Gardens’ Centennial Peace Plaza (1051 Martin Luther King Blvd.), and continues with a Parade of Flags, which kicks off at noon. Groups from more than 40 cultures, some with dance and music units, march down MLK, proudly promoting their heritages during the Parade.
Following the parade will be the official opening ceremony at the Plaza, then the individual Cultural Gardens will be busy offering ethnic food, music and dance. The event also will host a Children’s Village and many activities sponsored by non-profit exhibitors and sponsors. There will be some main stage music and dance performances at the Plaza, too.
This event is free.
