As performers and artists, Drag Queens/Kings create a larger-than-life persona that celebrates diversity. Our multilevel program will bring the same glamour and joy to all ages. Drag Story Time, offered monthly at Colors+, invites children of all ages and families to listen to stories of diversity, inclusion, and celebration. Reading aloud to the children opens the imaginations to explore people, places, times, and events beyond their own experiences while building communication and critical thinking skills. The stories read reflect a variety of cultures, families, and personal identities. The one-hour story time will present two-three different books, offering children a free book to continue to celebrate diversity in their homes.
