The evening will feature the world premiere of Anti/gone by award-winning choreographer Tommie-Waheed Evans. Evans was recently selected as a 2021 Guggenheim Fellow in choreography and is a recipient of a Princess Grace Award of Monte Carlo. Using his driving urban contemporary ballet movement aesthetic, he will synthesize the current political climate with the classical world of Antigone. This new commission will feature an original dynamic electronic score by Greg Smith and all-new costumes by fashion designer Philista Marie Mills. The performance will be followed by Raise-the-Paddle fundraiser and dinner by Trifles Catering.
