Learn about our museum’s collection and decorate your own ceramic piece of art! Our Cowan Curator will give a brief presentation on the history of the Cowan Pottery Studio followed by a chance to decorate a ceramic vase surrounded by our collection. Registration Required.
Guest Artist Talk: Yoko Sekino-Bove 1:00 pm Auditorium
Artist and Instructor of Ceramics at Carnegie Mellon University will speak about their practice and the various glaze techniques she uses and how they were developed. “My goal in ceramics is to create functional art with an exciting personality, which will live and work with the people who adopt them.”

Curator Greg Hatch will introduce the new online collection for the Cowan Pottery Museum. Learn how to use the Past Perfect search engines to conduct your own Cowan related research while you explore photos of our objects.
