Slovenian Accordion Concert with Hajime

Slovenian Accordion Concert with Hajime "Anže" Anzai and Friends from Tokyo, Japan

Presented by Slovenian Museum and Archives at Online/Virtual Space

A Cleveland Kurentovanje fan-favorite from our 2021 virtual festival, Anže, will captivate viewers again in this musical presentation. Hajime “Anže” Anzai is a Japanese professional accordion player who fell in love with Slovenia more than thirty years ago. Fascinated by the beautiful melodies and culture of Slovenia, Anže became the leader of Japan’s only Slovenian music duo, “Ansambel Planika.” Joined by fellow ensemble member, Mikio Matsushita on guitar, and skilled violinist, Yukio Kawano, this concert will delight audiences from the comfort of home.
This presentation will be streamed live via the Cleveland Kurentovanje website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.
