Slam Dunk Science Spectacular

Explore the physics of basketball, including elasticity and energy transfer. Then find out if a rocket can dunk a basketball!
STEM Storytime & Lab
Wednesday: 11 a.m.
Perfect for little scientists! Join our STEM staff for a special story focused on healthy foods and handwashing. Recommended for ages 0-5.
Immunity Cart
Wednesday – Saturday: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday: 1 – 4 p.m.
Explore the properties of common viruses and the body’s response to an infection.
Family Dissection Workshop: Heart Dissection ($10 per person, $8 members)
Saturday – Sunday: 1 p.m.
Tour the body’s pump with a dissection of a pig heart. Cut into the heart to reveal the four chambers, peer into the aorta, and inspect blood vessels up close. Dissection Workshops are for visitors ages 7 and up. Adult supervision is required. Register here.
