Lighthouses serve to welcome sailors and warn them of a hazardous shore. When we experience a loved one’s death, it’s difficult to emerge out of grief’s darkness to find that lighthouse of hope and safety. How would you paint your beacon of hope?
This two-part virtual series takes place over two weeks using Microsoft Teams. Once registered, you will receive all project supplies in the mail, as well as an e-mailed workshop link that allows you to join at the time of the group.
In the first session, we will discuss aspects of grief and healing, and the Art Therapist will provide instruction for completing the project on your own. In the second session, participants share their creations, discuss their process, and share stories and memories of their loved ones.
Guided by a Certified Art Therapist, Healing Arts Workshops provide grieving people with a creative outlet for their grief. Workshops are open to the community, and no art experience is necessary.
To register, please contact Certified Art Therapist Mollie Borgione at 216.486.6544 or mborgione@hospicewr.org no later than two weeks before the workshop. Admission is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested.
