When Nina enters her first air guitar competition, she thinks winning will be easy. But as she befriends a group of charismatic nerds all committed to becoming the next champion, she discovers that there’s more to this art form than playing pretend; it’s about finding yourself in your favorite songs, and performing with raw joy. Will Nina be able to let go and set herself free onstage? Following her mission to shred or be shredded, Airness by Chelsea Marcantel is an exuberant reminder that everything we need to rock is already inside us. A comedy about competition, completion, and finding the airness inside yourself.

Regularly-priced tickets range from $32-38. Discounts available for seniors, students, military, and groups. Sunday, October 31 at 7:30pm is a Pay What You Can (PWYC) performance, meaning that tickets are available for reservation at a price of $1 or more.
In an effort to welcome all members of our community, all Dobama performances have PWYC prices beginning one hour before each performance. All unreserved seats may be purchased for the PWYC rate of $1 or more.
Tickets for Airness are general admission to allow audience members to seat themselves according to social distancing preferences. Season members may reserve specific seats by calling or emailing the Box Office.
