Exhibiting artist Stephen Yusko will give a tour of the Wendy Park gateway sculptures that he and Stephen Manka designed and built in collaboration with the Cleveland Metroparks. The Wendy Park Bridge links the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Trail Lake Link to Wendy Park on Whiskey Island and Lake Erie. The bridge provides a new trail connection for both pedestrians and bicyclists and improved access to Wendy Park, Whiskey Island, former historic coast guard station and Edgewater Park. Join Stephen Yusko and Stephen Manka as they guide you through the design, creation and installation process behind the acclaimed 13 feet high metal pillars cut with images of birds on one entrance to the new bridge.
