Using either wood or linoleum, students will learn how to plan, register, and print a four-color reduction print. By workshops end, those registered will have explored a variety of carving methods, and learned a practical system of registration that will easily facilitate printing by hand or on press.

Arron Foster received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking and Art Education from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and his Master of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking and Book Arts from the University of Georgia, Athens Georgia. He has exhibited both nationally and internationally and has held academic appointments at the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, Kent State University, Kent, Ohio and Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Arron is currently the Inaugural Teaching Fellow in the Art and Integrative Core program at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. More about his artistic practice can be found here.
