On World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10th, 2021, Derek Hess and moCa Cleveland offer a creative outlet to explore healing.
The guided drawing session intends to support those interested in improving how they manage behaviors, process feelings, reduce stress and anxiety, and increase self-esteem. Through creative exploration, Hess has found that emotions aren’t always expressed well with words. He offers participants a different means of expression.
No drawing experience necessary.
This program is for participants high school aged and older.
The session will run from 1-4PM [EST] and offer periodic breaks.
This is a hybrid program which will take place:
On-site at moCa (limited to 10 particpants)
Unlimited participants can work alongside Hess through the on-line livestream
In partnership with Crisis Text Line
