Virtual Lunch on Fridays is back for the new academic year! Spend your lunch hour hearing from Ephraim Nehemiah, a published writer, educator and nationally touring performer whose work has hundreds of thousands of views across multiple platforms. They’ll speak and answer questions from 12:15 to 1:30pm this Friday, September 3.

Nehemiah’s work sits comfortably in the Black cultural lineage of griots who are dedicated to using truth to document and critique the world around them. They are a 2019 Cleveland Arts Prize winner and recipient of the Karamu House Artist Residency, and their work has been published in Anxy MagazineFemlitKnights Library Magazine and various other publications. Their first full-length poetry book will be published in the fall.
