Virtual Artist Talk - Tiny roads that lead to nowhere

Virtual Artist Talk - Tiny roads that lead to nowhere

Presented by Zygote Press at Online/Virtual Space

In the exhibition “Tiny roads that lead to nowhere…” Sean P. Morrissey and Lenore Thomas explore our environments and concepts of home. Through prints, works on paper, and installations, artist Sean P. Morrissey (they/them) investigates how we define identity through constructed environments, and the ways in which “outsiders” define home. In Lenore Thomas’s (she/they) work she explores family, place, and the ever-evolving search for home, using an impressive variety of traditional printmaking processes (such as chine collé), and non-traditional printmaking techniques (such as branding surfaces with cigarettes). Through this exhibition, home is simultaneously nowhere and everywhere.

There will be a live audience Q & A at the end of the talk.
