Join Kulture Kids and the students/families/community of Andrew J. Rickoff School for A Pleasant Garden Celebration at AJ Rickoff School with plant giveaways, healthy food samples and recipes, a garden scavenger hunt, raffle prizes, resources from community organizations, arts and crafts activities and frozen treats for kiddos, and more!

In past years, more than 250 people from the school and surrounding community attend this celebration and have direct access to information and resources provided by a variety of community organizations like those expected this year: The Cleveland Clinic, Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Praxis, and more!

Kulture Kids has partnered with AJ Rickoff School for the past 11 years, providing original, arts-integrated, STEAM-centered classroom workshops and performances.

The current garden project, A Pleasant Garden at Andrew J. Rickoff, began in 2016 in response to requests from teachers and administrators for a hands-on way to connect students with science and the arts outdoors.

Since its start, A Pleasant Garden at Andrew J. Rickoff has grown and distributed over 2,000 lbs. of fresh fruits and vegetables to students, families, and the surrounding Mt. Pleasant community for free.
