Documentary Talkback: Ruth: Justice Ginsburg in Her Own Words

Documentary Talkback: Ruth: Justice Ginsburg in Her Own Words

Presented by Maltz Museum at Online/Virtual Space

The documentary film Ruth: Justice Ginsburg in her Own Words asks the question “How does someone with three strikes against her rise to the highest court in the land?” To answer that, watch the documentary at home and then join moderator Ohio Supreme Court Justice Melody Stewart for a conversation with Oscar winner Freida Lee Mock, the film’s director, writer, and producer, and guest panelists Lilly Ledbetter, fair pay advocate and Supreme Court plaintiff, and Kathleen Peratis, the attorney who led the ACLU’s Women’s Rights Project after RBG, both of whom are featured in the documentary. Join guests from all over Northeast Ohio for an unforgettable discussion of the film and a celebration of the larger-than-life figure who inspired it, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg herself.

We are proud to present this program in connection to the special exhibition, Notorious: RBG: The Life & Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, presented locally by PNC Bank.

Thank you to our programming partners: Jewish Community Relations Council of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation, Hillel at Kent State University, Classrooms Without Borders, ACLU of Ohio.
