Meir Shalev, Israeli author and columnist for the daily Yedioth Ahronoth will discuss the intriguing topic of First Loves in the Bible.
The first love in the Bible did not involve a couple. The first kiss in the Bible had nothing to do with love. Overall, the biblical concept of love is much different than how we perceive it today. Meir Shalev will discuss the love life of Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, and Isaac and Rebecca – which is the first mention of love between a man and a woman in the history of Jewish text and literature.
