5th Annual Jazz for Harvard: Healing Arts

5th Annual Jazz for Harvard: Healing Arts

Presented by Harvard Community Services Center at Harvard Community Services Center

The Jazz for Harvard: Healing Arts was launched on Thursday, August 16, 2016 with Carlos Jones and the PLUS Band.  Since then we have added more local bands such as Hubb’s Groove with Sarah’s Girl, Forecast, Horns And Things, Old Skool Playas, the Williams Project, and the Michael Austin Project.

Free Art Classes are offered and taught by local artists such as Jerome White, Phylicia Allen, and Vanessa Jones; we offer Merchant Vendors, and Food Trucks.  During past Festivals, we have had cultural dance by Dajapo Cultural Arts Institute, Drumming by Peace in the Hood Drumming, Line Dancing by the (Line Dance King & DJ) Robert Johnson, and head bobbing music by DJ Ellery.  During the Festivals we embrace and showcase the rich cultural heritage and history of the City of Cleveland Ward One neighborhoods (Lee-Harvard, Lee-Miles, Lee-Seville, and the Village). Masks and Social Distancing Mandatory.
