AIM: How It Started

AIM: How It Started

Presented by Shaker Historical Society at Online/Virtual Space

Join Cleveland AIM representatives Robert Roche and Jeff Pierce for the first talk in a two-part series about Cleveland AIM history and issues facing Native Nations. This first talk will discuss the start of the American Indian Movement (AIM), which was founded in 1968 by Eddie Benton-Banai and Clyde Belcourt. This series is free to the public but registration is required through Zoom. You can register at https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJYrdOyupjkuGdTXRvwqmeaUAF82Z7r0e8EJ.

The Shaker Historical Society acknowledges that Cleveland AIM provides one perspective of Native history and issues but does not speak on behalf of all Indigenous people of Northeast Ohio.
