Join our naturalist for a hike on the Zimmerman trail as we search for spring ephemeral wildflowers in our woods and take a peek at our Bald Eagle nest.

The Carol H. Sweet Nature Center is located at 5185 Corduroy Road in Mentor. From November through March, a naturalist will staff the Nature Center from 11am to 4pm on the first Sunday of the month. From April through October, the Nature Center will be staffed from noon to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Family nature hikes are offered from 2 to 3:30pm every Sunday. Meet at the Nature Center unless otherwise indicated. Our programs are a go in all but severe weather, so please come prepared for the weather conditions.
