Lakefront Birding Trip

Lakefront Birding Trip

Presented by Cleveland Museum of Natural History at Cuyahoga County

LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK BEFORE EVENT DATE.
Join Dr. Andy Jones, the Museum’s William A. and Nancy R. Klamm Endowed Chair and Curator of Ornithology, and Senior Collections Manager of Zoology Courtney Brennan for a birding adventure! In an excursion perfect for both beginning and seasoned birders, we will explore local habitats to become familiar with the bird species that spend the winter in the Cleveland region.

Winter has not relinquished its grasp, but March can be a time of heavy migration for some birds, including ducks and blackbirds. We will be on the lookout for signs of spring migration as we walk through a local birding site.

We will select the exact location (somewhere in Cuyahoga County) one week before the date, based on weather as well as local bird patterns.
