Theatre Thursday is a interactive virtual event which allows audiences to experience the artistry of CPH, connect directly with the makers of our work, and converse with staff and other audience members about the impact of our work in our community.
Theatre Thursday: Onward!
Thursday, March 18 | 7:00 PM EST
Advisory: Mature Language
A Live Interactive Virtual Program from Cleveland Play House
Focusing on CPH’s core values of Artistry, Community and Life-Long Learning.
CPH is proud to present to you excerpts from three exciting narratives that exemplify overcoming times of struggle. Using race, ability, and socio-economic backgrounds as explored in these plays, join us for a conversation about how we can unpack and interrogate our own preconceived notions. Through their work, these three artists will share their journeys and open up our perspectives as we witness them take their struggles and move ever onward.
Featuring work by Liz Femi, Gardiner Comfort, and Bianca Sams:
Take Me to the Poorhouse, by Liz Femi
The Elephant in Every Room I Enter, by Gardiner Comfort
