Free online event featuring spoken word pieces and a panel discussion around the Black and Latinx communities in Cleveland.
A collaborative event presented by Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center and Twelve Literary Arts.
Join us as we begin to journey towards healing, beginning by rooting ourselves in the present and recent past. We will address the unique state of the Black and Latinx community in Cleveland and start to demystify the West/East divide through the vehicle of art as well as open, honest and meaningful discussion facilitated by Juan Caminero. Panelists: Marisol Ramos, Sidney Berry, Ricardo Leon and Antunesia Harris.
Virtual Doors open at 5:30pm, and we will begin at 6:00pm with pieces from two poets; Sidney Berry and Marisol Ramos.
