At Heights Arts Group Show exibition, Bernadette Glorioso’s work will be center stage as the spotlight showcase.
Heights Arts presents the Group Show exhibition as the second exhibition of 2021. Five artists present works in painting, sculpture, and mixed media, all centered around abstract art.
Our Spotlight Showcase for the exhibition is no exception. Bernadette Glorioso’s paintings are larger than life, with bright colors and themes that demand attention. Her latest work centers around the peace she’s found in Cleveland’s nature as of late.
“Since my move back to Cleveland I have been inspired by the breathtaking Metroparks
that surround my neighborhood. I can’t deny the impact of nature’s lively inhabitants. My
bold interactions with deer, squirrels, skunks, owls, and my brush with a groundhog has
strongly influenced my art,” Gloriso says.
“Similar to biomimicry, my work observes the natural interaction of the wondrous
animals and how it relates to the human response of problem solving and interpersonal
communication. With a strong need for digital interaction during our pandemic, how has
this influenced our natural and grounded response to social skills and basic human
interaction? This series is an optimistic reflection of life’s complexities.”
The Group Show runs March 19th through May 16th
