Crack the Door for Some Air

Crack the Door for Some Air

Presented by Dobama Theatre at Online/Virtual Space

Mirroring a real-life incident, the play follows a series of events after a Black male neighbor notices Tamara’s mother’s front door is cracked open and calls the non-emergency number. Crack the Door for Some Air explores the unjust reality of police brutality against Black women in America and how it affects families and communities.

A recording of the reading, which was presented live through Zoom, is available on Dobama Theatre’s Facebook page to view for free at any time.
